Monica Rossi Baylis named an "Influential Women of Law" class of 2022 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

Congratulations to our very own, Monica Rossi Baylis, for being named “Influential Women of Law” for 2022 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Only 32 women in the State of Michigan were awarded this prestigious honor. The honorees named as “Influential Women of Law” earn this by being committed to excellence in the practice of law, by being inspiring and accomplished leaders, by mentoring others, and by contributing significant time and effort to volunteer and pro bono initiatives. Monica and the other honorees will be awarded at a recognition luncheon put on by Michigan Lawyers Weekly in September. They will also appear in a special edition of the September 26 issue of Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

Monica specializes in family law where she handles a variety of different matters including divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, alimony, adoption, personal protection orders, child protective proceedings, grandparents’ rights, among others. She also handles cases involving juvenile guardianships and juvenile delinquency matters.

Monica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctorate from the Wayne State University School of Law. She is involved in her community where she has served as the chair of the Juvenile Law Committee and an adjunct professor of legal studies at Baker College.

Monica was selected as a member of Leading Lawyers in 2019 and 2021 by the Leading Lawyers Michigan Advisory Board. She was also listed in Who’s Who in 2020 and awarded “10 Best Attorneys” by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.

Please join us in congratulating Monica on this wonderful honor!
