Mary Kucharek Named Equity Partner

We are pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has named Mary Kucharek equity partner effective January 1, 2021. Mary is very deserving of the title of equity partner. She concentrates her practice in the area of municipal law including criminal prosecutions, as well as, criminal defense and victim advocacy. She is the City Attorney for the City of Orchard Lake Village and the Village of Lake Orion, as well as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Birmingham. She is very active in her community and a frequent speaker to high schools and community groups relating to alcohol, drugs, and under-age substance abuse. Mary has also served on the Oakland County Mental Health Authority Board, been a mentor for the Oakland County Bar Association Inns of Court, and contributed to the District Court Bench-Bar Conference.

Mary is a proud member of the 2017 Class of ‘Women in the Law’ by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. She is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association.

Mary graduated with her Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit and finished first in her class at Detroit Nursing School where she earned her nursing degree.

Mary has worked very hard for position of equity partner and we are so proud she is a part of our Beier Howlett family!
