Monica joins Beier Howlett after practicing law for over 20 years. She specializes in family law where she handles cases involving divorce, child custody, parenting time, alimony, child support, adoption, paternity, personal protection orders, pre-nuptial agreements, child protective proceedings, grandparent’s rights, as well as adult and juvenile guardianships and juvenile delinquency matters. Monica handles these matters with compassion and understanding knowing that these matters are sensitive and emotional.

Monica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1987 and her law degree from Wayne State University in 1990. She is involved in the community including having served as a chair of the Juvenile Law Committee and as an adjunct professor of legal studies at Baker College. She is also an active member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association.
